Year 1 trip to Whitworth Art Gallery

Class: Year 1 Year: 2023 - 2024

Year 1 had a fantastic time at Whitworth art gallery with artist Katy Jones. They looked at different colours and shapes in tapestry and tried to recreate this through sketching. They later took part in a water colours painting session where they looked at creating different textures and mixing different colours. They even had time to explore in the creative area of the gallery after lunch!
