We are currently seeking to appoint a School Business Manager.

Grade 8, £40,476 - £44,711 (pro-rata)
Permanent and Full Time
Required January 2025 (or as soon as possible afterwards)

Sacred Heart is a welcoming and vibrant school; all staff are fully committed to providing the highest standards of education for all pupils. Governors are seeking to appoint a highly effective Business Manager who will strong leadership in financial management. Whilst this is largely a school-based role, hybrid/flexible working arrangement would be considered.Informal enquiries and/or visits to the school are welcomed by arrangement.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Strategically maximise income generation
• Budget management to ensure greatest impact on learning
• Personnel
• Building and Premises Management
• Health and Safety Management
• Whole School Administration

The successful candidate will:


• Demonstrate initiative and be able to prioritise work effectively
• Work with integrity and confidentiality
• To be well organised with meticulous attention to detail.
• Have excellent time management skills
• To have excellent oral and written communication and numeracy skills

·To be conversant with FMS, SFVS and Access Education (HCSS)
