What an amazing treat we had last night! A huge 'Well done' to all of our year 5 pupils who transported us to the barren moors of Scotland and told the story of Macbeth through the lyrics of Queen. We were rocked in our seats!
All year 5 children are taking home a DVD of the performance that can be purchased for £3. If you would like additional copies, please see Miss Barnes.
Many thanks for your support- it was wonderful for the children to have such a fantastic audience.

Pop along to any Manchester library and register for the 'Big Read Summer Challenge.' There are so many amazing activities going on in your library this summer including: mask making, lego, music making, puppets, story telling, rhyme time, craft tables and many more.
We would love to see everybody with a certificate from their local library in September to say that they successfully completed the reading challenge!

On Friday 13th February, Year 5 and 6 children celebrated their class mass.
The children prepared the readings, choose the hymns and participated in each part of the mass.
If was the first time that children sang the new mass - this was met by great appreciation by Father Chris.
The comments the children received after mass were outstanding! Many asked if the children could come each day!
It was great to see so many smiling faces around the school and I know Mrs Bramhall and Father Chris were very proud and pleased with the children.
Feel free to have a look at the Mass Booklet below.
