School Lunches including Applying for Free School Meals

We are very fortunate to have our own kitchen facilities on site. This means that our cook, is able to provide freshly prepared healthy lunches here at school each day.  To see the current menu please click below on files to be downloaded.

All children in Reception Class, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school lunch every day if they would like one. We encourage this as much as possible as a balanced meal during the day has been shown to improve performance at school.

Children in Nursery and Year groups 3,4,5 and 6 are required to pay for their lunches at a cost £2.25 each day, £11.25 per week. This is payable in advance on a Monday morning, or beginning of a term, please pay for your child's school meals via SIMs Agora online payment system, we are now a cashless office and can no longer accept cash for school meals.

If you wish your child to change their meal requirements i.e. School Meals to Packed Lunches you must speak to the school office and complete a form, we require two week's notice for any changes.

Unfortunately we cannot cater for adhoc meal changes unless in an extreme emergency, in this instance you must contact the school office and pay £2.25 online to cover this meal.

If you think your child may be entitled to a free school meal, please download and complete the form below.

Should you require any further information please contact school.

FREE SCHOOL MEALS

If you think/know you  are entitled to Free School Meals please apply online by clicking here .  You will need to apply for each child you have in school individually but when you have completed the first child it 'remembers' the information already given and flood fills the form.

Children in Reception, Years 1 and 2 receive a  Universal Free School Meal  regardless of the family's income.   However if your family is eligible via the benefits criteria for free school meals you need to apply.    This enables school to be provided with extra funding that will support your child whilst at our school.

The benefits of using this system are that you only every have to apply once, no paperwork is needed and you will receive any instant response to your child's eligibility.  If your child is eligible for free school meals, they will continue to receive free school meals until the end of Year 6.
