Year 1 Receive A Royal Reply!, by Mrs Whelan

Date: 3rd Nov 2015 @ 3:58pm

Year 1 had a very exciting delivery to class today! We received an envelope with the royal coat of arms on it that had come from Buckingham Palace! The Year 1 children received a very special letter addressed to them, thanking them for the cards which they sent to the Queen to congratulate her on being the longest reigning monarch. She enjoyed looking at and reading them very much! We are now going to find somewhere special to display our royal reply in class!

Date: 13th Mar 2015 @ 5:13pm

Today we held a cake sale to raise money for our Lenten Charity Collection - The Good Shepherd Charity - which promotes children helping children.

The Year 4 and the Year 1 children kindly brought in lots of lovely cakes for the sale, and the other classes in the school brought in a 50p donation for a cake.

Special mentions to Ruby, Timothy and Erin from Year 4 who were excellent at running the cake stall!

Thank you to all of the families who supported this charity collection.
